We went for breakfast as a belated birthday treat to my wife from a friend. The venue is spacious, attractively decorated with a vibrant atmosphere. The quality of the food was excellent: I had the Ivy Full English, my wife had the breakfast menu special which were well worth the price. We were asked if it was special occasion and then received unexpectedly a complimentary glass of champagne and afterwards my wife was presented with a choux bun with a candle. The service was excellent, the perfect balance between leaving is to enjoy our meal and being attentive. We are definitely going to visit again and would highly recommend it.

The restaurant is nice however the food didn’t quite meet my expectations, the roast chicken looked and tasted like boiled chicken. There glasses had a weird smell of like eggs. Their service is good though but food no.

Considering this is a 5 star bar and restaurant. I wasn’t impressed, waiting a long time to receive my order. When it arrived it was warm, not hot. Another visitor received theirs long after the row of us received ours. Waited ages for coffee, when it eventually arrived there were coffee stains down the cup. Had to ask for a knife to butter the toast which we had alongside our breakfast. It was cold in the restaurant and the cloak room was freezing where our coats were held, our coats were freezing when we put them on to leave. The temperature was actually colder than outside. I do have to say the decor is beautiful and the floor managers did assist us with our issues with the waiting staff who served our table. We were offered complementary pastries and coffee and the drinks were taken off the bill with a further discount.

Had the ox cheek with mash hardly any mash just a plate of ox cheek and gravy disappointed with the meal won't be rushing back

I just had an amazing experience at The Ivy. Our waiter, Ucha, was fantastic. He was super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.

Was made to feel very welcome as a solo diner. Had halloumi with red pepper salsa to start (salsa obviously straight from the fridge and a bit too cold), followed by sea bass fillet which was good and tasty. Excellent waiting staff. Live music was on and good.

All good - service could be quicker. If you’re just stopping by for a casual meal on the go, it might feel like a long wait before you’re out. Also a bit dark - could use more lighting. Lots of older folks shining a light over the menu, which is quite funny! Kids friendly environment (2 yrs old)

Ordered the Fish and chips this time, it was fantastic, probably the best fish and chips I've had for a very long time. Loved the atmosphere and the service was really good.
